Unable to start at all
If you are facing this issues then that means you are not able to start your system by pressing the power button. One of the causes for this issue would be unavailability of power supply to the system. To fix this issue check if your system is connected to the AC supply. See if the wall socket is working by plugging in some other machine or device. Then plug back your system and press the power On button for few seconds to see if your system turns on. If your system is on battery then make sure it is not drained out.
Freezes on starting up
In this situation your system will turn on but immediately freeze prohibiting you from performing any further action on it. Try clicking in an area with the mouse where you can write something. This kind of problem might arise if your computer goes in sleep mode or if it is facing some software conflict within. To get it out of sleep mode you need to press the space bar or power button. If it has actually hanged then try doing a forceful shutdown by pressing the power button for a while else by holding down the key combination of CTRL+ALT and then hitting the DEL key.
Most of these problems are easy to resolve, however, you need to find out the real cause first. Sometimes a severe infection can also prevent your system from booting up. So, firstly make sure you always keep the security level of your system at optimum scale. Secondly do not let the battery of your system discharge completely, as it might impact the battery life as well. If nothing seems to be working then boot your system in safe mode and then remove the infection and then boot it in the normal mode.
