Hard disk drive recovery partition
Using Toshiba Recovery Partition you can recover your lost data. To access such recovery partition, power off the system. Press the zero key and turn the laptop on. Keep holding down the zero key until the Toshiba logo appears. Stop when the unit beeps or when the Toshiba logo disappears. The screen will flash HDD RECOVERY MODE for a split second, and then would load the Toshiba recovery program right from the hard drive. Be sure to backup all your personal data beforehand. As such, a process would erase all data and reload all factory default software.
Create hard drive recovery disks
The user should keep in mind the system configuration. The user might be able to copy the hard drive recovery utilities to their CDs or DVDs. This provides the user with the ability to recover their disk drive and reclaim additional hard disk space that may be required to store the hard drive recovery utilities on your system. To overcome the issues of recovery partition the user can resize and recover the C: drive to its factory default setting. This is used to reformat all partitions on the HDD. But before that the user should need to be sure that the work should be saved to an external media. The user can select recovery partition of factory default option to a custom size partition. The user should press arrow key to increase or decrease the size of the disk. Then follow the installation process.
