Turn ‘on’ Bluetooth
In Toshiba Qosmio X500 laptop, there is special button for using the Bluetooth option. By pressing that button, you can turn on the Bluetooth device in your laptop. When Bluetooth is active, a symbol indicating it will appear on the lower tab in the window. You need driver software in your system to get the Bluetooth interface. You can connect the needed Bluetooth enabled device by accessing it as paired device.
When you turn ‘on’ the Bluetooth in your Toshiba Qosmio X500 laptop, all the Bluetooth enabled devices within the range can access your system. Thereby, it will create an insecure network environment. So, you should ensure the security of your device through a password while pairing with mobile devices or any other Bluetooth enabled computer. Hence, Bluetooth connection may be authorized only to the users who know the password to connect to your Toshiba Qosmio X500 laptop.
Once you turn ‘on’ the Bluetooth in your Toshiba Qosmio X500 laptop, it will remain enabled every time you turn on the laptop until you turn it ‘off’ manually. This will allow external users to enter your system and access the information or plant viruses. So, it is strongly recommended that you should turn ‘off’ the Bluetooth after finishing the data transfer.
