International iF Design Award is one of the most prestigious awards with 4322 product entries from 48 different countries competing for 16 different categories. As the award is given by an international jury of experts, winning it can offer a great opportunity to a company to showcase its product.
It is a great achievement for TOSHIBA TEC to win the coveted International iF Design Award. TOSHIBA TEC DB-EA4D was thoroughly assessed by an international jury that took into account several factors like design quality, functionality, brand value, quality of materials, degree of innovation, etc. "This year the Toshiba DB-EA4D passed our stringent criteria to represent best practice Design for sustainability, functionality and degree of innovation and is a deserving winner of this award," said Frank Zierenberg, manager of the iF product design award at iF International Forum Design.
Known for its compact, rugged and robust design, TOSHIBA TEC DB-EA4D double-sided label printer offers a cost-effective and green solution to applications with dual output. It can be a viable alternative to single-sided solutions because of its high-speed printing and convenience in usage. The printer will be displayed live or as multimedia installation at the iF Design Exhibition in Hanover, Germany and in CeBIT Trade Show in March 2012.
