Marking a breakthrough in mobile technology, Toshiba launched first-of-its-kind glasses-free 3D laptop, on August 16 2011. This became possible with the latest auto-stereoscopic technology that works on special eye-tracking software to track the viewer’s head movement and adjusts the stereoscopic image accordingly, by means of the integrated webcam. Does this mean keeping yourself still all the time? Not at all, normal head movement and posture changes do not compromise the quality. However, this technique is best suited for one viewer at a time. The new Series Qosmio F750 can display 3D and 2D content at the same time on a single screen. Toshiba is planning to introduce a full range of glasses-free 3D products, from TVs and laptops to all-in-one computers and tablets.
Let us break-free from its 3D spell for a moment and look at other great features the Qosmio F750 series offers:
• 15.6-inch full HD screen that offers two windows for 3D and 2D viewing
• 1.3 MP HD webcam with Face Tracking Technology
• Intel Core i7-2630QM processor
• NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M (3D vision) graphics engine

• 6GB DDR3 1333MHz of RAM
• 750GB (5400rpm) of ample storage capacity
• Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
• Blue Ray player support including other 16 formats
Well, with all these powerful features the list does not stop here. Toshiba Qosmio F750 offers three 2.0 and one 3.0 USB ports. It has HDMI output for a 3D ready TV, too. The resolution for 3D playback is 1366x768 (720p) while an optimal resolution for 2D content is supported up to 1920x1080 (1080p) , with an aspect ratio of 16:9. Its Lithium-ion (48W, 6Cell) battery runs for up to 3.05 hours. These are Energy Star rated laptops and weighs only 7.5 lbs. In addition to Ethernet LAN, it supports Wi-Fi, as well as Wi-Di support for access to wireless network or external wireless display. A 2D-to-3D conversion utility is inbuilt in Toshiba’s media playback software. To give you an immersive audio experience, Qosmio F750 has Harmon/Kardon stereo speakers, further fine-tuned with Dolby and MaxxAudio.
The Qosmio F750 series offers two variants–Qosmio F755-S5219 and F755-3D290. The later has a Bluetooth V3.0 support as an additional feature, which is not present in F755-S5219. Similarly, Qosmio F755-S5219 features WiMax while F755-3D290 does not. Both models are priced at $1,699.99.
