Screen in Toshiba® Tecra A11
What are the commonly found screen problems in Toshiba Tecra A11 model?
Toshiba Tecra A11 laptops are designed to suit the needs of business purposes. Their screens are made up of numerous thin film transistors which maintain the brightness of the screens.
In this post we will throw light on some commonly occurring issues with the screens of these laptops and their possible resolutions.
- Screen turns blank
- Screen looks weird with different icon sizes
- Screen has tiny bright dots
Screen turns blank
At times you might see your screen turning blank without your intervention. This happens when the Display Auto Off option gets activated. To fix this problem just press any key on your keyboard and your laptop screen will get back to its normal state. If it asks you for a password then enter the password which you might have set for unlocking your screen.
Screen looks weird with different icon sizes
Here your laptop screen might have icons which are different in sizes from each other and from their regular sizes making your laptop screen look weird. This kind of problem arises when the display setting of the laptop changes for some reason. To fix this issue you need to go to the display settings tab by doing a right click on the desktop (in blank space) and then going to personalize. You can select your choice of theme, wallpapers, color settings and other options to bring back the display screen to its normal appearance.
In this case tiny bright dots might appear on your laptop screen when you turn it on. This might look like a problem but actually it is not. These bright dots are emitted by thin film transistors which are part of the display screen. You might also notice that with time these the brightness of the screen will gradually become less; however, there is nothing to worry about.
