Failure to detect the video on the High Definition TV
If the computer fails to detect the appropriate video setting for a particular High Definition TV then we should first ensure that the TV is turned on. After this, restart the Windows operating system. Else manually select the desired video format. Press the ‘FN’ + ‘F5’ hotkey combination to select between the laptop monitor and the High Definition TV. Else right click the desktop, open Properties, go to the “Settings” tab and select the “Advanced” button. Press the ‘GeForce Go’ tab, choose the picture of the TV that appears in the window, select the desired TV format and choose the video format from the list provided. After this press ‘Apply’ and see the end result on the High Definition TV. Close the display property window. After the process is done, the ‘FN’ + ‘F5’ combination should work correctly.
Issues with the video drivers
If the option of choosing the resolution cannot be found on the display screen and the ‘FN’ + ‘F5’ hotkey combination fails to produce the desired output, ensure that the display drivers of the graphics card on the laptop are installed on the Toshiba Tecra A11 laptop. Without the proper graphics drivers, the display would result in an error. The mini DisplayPort would fail to produce the output. The drivers of the desired model can be obtained and the laptop can be reconfigured to produce the desired resolution on the screen.
Always make sure that original products are used. The use of faulty or duplicate cables can cause deterioration of the output that is produced by the mini Displayport. There may be errors produced like lines and patches on the screen by the use of faulty mini HDMI cable. Ensure that care is taken in choosing and using a good cable manufactured by Toshiba to produce an efficient and clear image of the required high definition display on the screen.
