How does Bluetooth technology work?
Bluetooth is a wireless technology which allows you to connect different devices in a wireless connection. Bluetooth is installed in a device using a card, which then enables that device to communicate with any other device having Bluetooth, using radio waves frequency. This frequency will allow the devices to get connected only if the Bluetooth is turned on in both and they are within permissible range of distance from each other.
How to turn on/off Bluetooth in Toshiba Tecra A11?
There is a key called “F8” on the Toshiba Tecra A11 laptop which is used for turning on and off the Bluetooth in this system. When you hit “F8” with “Fn” key it will display five signs on your screen. From Left to Right, first is for enabling Wi-Fi, second is for turning on the Bluetooth, third is for enabling both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, fourth is for disabling all and fifth is for cancel. You can also enable and disable Bluetooth from the Control Panel.
Since Bluetooth and Wi-Fi both use radio waves, when you enable them together there might be slight drop in your connection at times. This is normal and there is no need to worry. Remember to hold down the “Fn” key before hitting “F8”, else the hot key will not get activated to turn on the Bluetooth.
